CZEKN is a website similar to Life360. It allows you to share your location with your friends and family which builds trust between parents and children. The business will follow a subscription model similar to life360.

Users can create two groups for free but to create more they need to pay the monthly subscription fee. In the future, It will also have emergency notification of group member messaging. CZEKN.COM is the only web-based location sharing.

Being web-based CZEKN is also available to those who do not have smartphones but may have access to a P.C. This is more common in second and third world countries.

What problems does CZEKN solve?

Parents want to know the location of their children but tracking them leads to resentment and a lack of trust. Teens need an easy way to share their location with parents at will from any web-connected device.

All people should have access to location sharing technology regardless of whether they have a smartphone or not. CZEKN allows location sharing from any browser capable device.

For whom your Product/ Service is for?

Families especially those with teenage children who have had a negative experience with location tracking apps. Groups of friends and many people who care about each other and are regularly separated.

What makes you stand out from the crowd?

We are web-based. Providing excellent service and customer experience on more devices and at a lower cost is the base strategy for customer retention.

Since our target customers are already on the internet advertising can be done on the web with a promo video and social media effort. Target audiences include parents and young adults so we can target the appropriate sites.

Any Achievements or Milestones accomplished?

The beta version of our website is fully functional and free to use.

What are your future plans?

To grow our customer base around the English speaking world followed by the Spanish speaking world. Offering IOS and Android app version of the technology which interface with the web site data for those that want to use an app.

During the beta, access to the app is free, after that its free for up to two groups. Beyond two groups (i.e. family, friends) its $20 per year for an individual or $30 per year for a family.

Future enhancements: Real-time location tracking, Messaging, Directions, Location History.

About The Founders

I have more than 20 years of experience designing and developing software and databases. I have almost ten years experience as a web developer and I have also worked on a number of GIS Mapping websites professionally.

I am a father/family man with relatives all over the world so I recognize the need to stay in contact with people who are important to me but may be far away.

I created CZEKN because I wanted this software for my own use and I think this gives me a unique advantage.I have a day job as a web programmer for the County of Sonoma.
