Haplen is a free project management app that organizes tasks in a simple, but powerful way. It’s is designed to help teams more easily visualize their tasks through sorting, grouping, and filtering in an intuitive user interface.
The best software is that which is able to find a balance between simplicity and power. This is what Haplen has set out to do for project management.
On a daily basis, teams around the world are trying to figure out the best way to assign, allocate, and complete their open tasks.
The problem is that most of them are either trying to organize their tasks in over-complicated corporate management software, or in over-simplified and cluttered kanban boards. That’s’ right, teams find themselves wasting time managing their project management software… ironic, we know.

About The Founders
David Porter is the primary founder. He has worked with several startups over the past few years and noticed a constant pattern of disorganization when it comes to managing tasks.
Too often, David found himself wasting his time trying to sort through hundreds of Trello cards and setting up team meetings to define a proper workflow. Like most startups, the teams he worked with were usually too small to have a dedicated project manager.
Out of frustration, he decided to build Haplen, a tool with a properly defined workflow that makes the organizing tasks much more efficient. His goal for Haplen is to create a flexible task management tool that manages itself, saving teams time.
